After a positive response from the public the redistributed opening hours at all Clearview Public Library Branches during this year's pilot project are now permanent.
The pilot project, which ran from January 2nd to June 30th, was conducted to better address the needs of the public in terms of accessing the facilities, without reducing hours in any way and at no additional cost.
The Sunday hours at the Stayner Branch were popular, with the highest gate count of all other open days. After hectic Saturdays, families have more time to spend together on Sundays and are looking for fun and free activities. More drop-in activities are now offered on Sundays at the Stayner Branch to meet those needs.
The Creemore Branch is no longer closed for the dinner break from Tuesdays to Fridays. Patrons adjusted readily to the change, with a number expressing their satisfaction with not having to wait until 7:00 PM to go to the library.
The response from New Lowell Branch patrons was also positive, shifting the closing hour to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays to provide longer evening hours.
The now permanent, branch hours are as follows:
Stayner Branch
Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
