Clearview Public Transit Route 2 servicing Creemore will begin taking riders at 7:00 AM on Thursday, October 3rd. The Creemore route will run four days a week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and operate a morning service hourly from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and afternoon service from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
The route includes 9 stops starting at Mary Street & Nelson Street (stop 1) at the top of the hour. Route 2 takes riders across Creemore and ends at the Clearview Administration Centre in Stayner at 40 minutes past the hour before returning to Mary Street and resetting. Watch for the bus stop signs being installed in Creemore this week!
Riders can transfer to Route 1 at the Clearview Administration Centre after a 10-minute wait when it picks up at stop 11 on Perry Street at 50 mins past the hour. Riders can also connect with the Simcoe LINX transit service to Barrie when it stops at the Clearview Administration Centre on Gideon Street at 42 minutes past the hour.
There will be no change to Clearview Transit fares and bus passes, and riders will be able to transfer between Route 1 (Stayner/Wasaga Beach) and Route 2 (Creemore) at no extra cost. Clearview Transit users can travel through Creemore on Route 2 for free during the month of October (not applicable to Route 1). Regular fares take effect on November 1st.
