Mayor Doug Measures and Human Resources Manager Tammy Gill, are pleased to announce that John Ferguson has accepted the role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Township of Clearview, effective March 31, 2021.
John brings over thirty years of leadership experience, ten as a CAO, within municipal organizations. John’s career path includes positions held in government consulting, Councillor experience, and recreational leadership. John has received many awards for his community involvement and has been recognized for volunteering.
The Recruitment Committee was consistently impressed with his strategic thinking, creativity and understanding of the role. John brings a breadth of experience and has demonstrated a leadership style that is collaborative, thorough and results driven.
As Clearview’s CAO, John will lead the Senior Management Team and provide advice to Council with the leadership skills, professional mannerisms, and community-mindedness needed to meet the expectations of our rapidly growing community.
