At a Volunteer Appreciation event held last week Volunteers from Clearview’s twenty plus Committees and Boards were honoured for their invaluable contributions to the Township and our community.
Mayor Doug Measures and Clearview Council were thrilled to spend an evening honouring the many volunteers our community is privileged to have, "Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our community.” He said, “Their dedication and selflessness inspire us all and are vital to the success and vibrancy of our municipality. We are profoundly grateful for their invaluable contributions. Thank you for your time and dedication."
Volunteers were celebrated at a Volunteer Appreciation dinner and awards ceremony, held once a Council term, where certificates for Years of Service ranging from 5 to a truly commendable 41 years were presented to attendees.
Volunteers foster a sense of community, maintain local gathering places, provide social and learning opportunities, preserve local history and make improvements for today and future generations. Thank you to all of the volunteers who contribute their time and talent to making Clearview a great place to live, work and play.
