The Township of Clearview has declared a Significant Weather Event, as of 8:30 PM on March 29, 2025. The Significant Weather Event has been declared due to freezing rain and deteriorated road conditions throughout the Township.
The 10th Concession between County Road 124 and County Road 91 is closed due to multiple trees down on the road and will remain closed until Sunday, when crews have time to clean up the road.
The declaration is made as it relates to Ontario’s Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Roads and isn’t notice of a reduced level of service or a road closure. It is to notify the public that due to the current or forecast conditions, caution is to be observed when travelling on roads maintained by the Township of Clearview as it may take longer than usual to bring the roads back to optimal conditions.
Residents are asked to avoid unnecessary travel at this time.
