The Township of Clearview remains actively engaged in the Significant Weather Event declared on March 29, 2025, responding to the recent ice storm by prioritizing public safety, storm clean-up, and infrastructure protection.
Crews are working diligently to address hazardous conditions. From April 2nd to April 3rd, a Special Weather Statement is in effect for our area for potential freezing rain, high winds, localized flooding, or flash floods. Residents are asked to avoid unnecessary travel at this time.
Please allow our crews and the hydro crews to complete their work safely by respecting road barricades, which have been put in place to keep motorists and travellers safe from hazardous and unsafe conditions, such as fallen debris, downed trees and powerlines, and deteriorated road conditions. You should never approach downed hydro lines, as they may be live.
