The Clearview Public Library (Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell Branches) is seeking two (2) students for our Children’s summer reading and outreach programs (summer festivals).
Start Date: June 23, 2026
Qualifications and Abilities required:
- Must be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary program in a recognized academic institution and will be returning to school on a full-time basis in the fall of 2026
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with children effectively
- Excellent reading ability
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all three library branches located in Creemore, New Lowell and Stayner
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada as a student
- Age requirement is between 15 and 30 years of age at the time of hire
- Be in possession of a valid Social Insurance Number at the time of hire
Hours of work: 30 hours per week. The position includes evening and weekend shifts.
Wage Rate: $22.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay.
