This National Volunteer Week, Clearview Township Council and Staff would like to recognize and celebrate all the volunteers in our Township whose contributions create a stronger, enriched, and inclusive Canada for everyone.
The theme of National Volunteer Week 2026, April 19 to 25, “Ignite Volunteerism,” invites people from all backgrounds to “Find Your Thing” – discovering personal ways to contribute, whether through local events, grassroots initiatives, or ongoing volunteer commitments.
Mayor Doug Measures recognized Volunteer Appreciation Week on behalf of Clearview Council and the municipality at the April 13th Clearview Council meeting by proclaiming April 19th to 25th as National Volunteer Week. “Clearview Township’s volunteers have continued to give their time and talents to support families, friends, neighbours, and strangers, creating a more desirable place to live. We recognize and support the crucial role played by volunteers in our community,” he proclaimed.
Clearview Township is grateful for each contribution volunteers from our service organizations, hall boards, organizations and committees make. Their contributions enrich our community in countless ways. This Volunteer Week, take a moment to thank a volunteer who has supported our community.
