Mayor Doug Measures is pleased to announce that Kelly McDonald, Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant, has accepted the role of Director of Finance/Treasurer for the Township of Clearview.
Kelly has been employed by Clearview Township for 13 years and is currently the Deputy-Treasurer, a role she has filled exceptionally since 2011. She also served as a Financial Analyst for 4 years. Kelly will take over as the Director of Finance/Treasurer on September 30th.
Mayor Measures is pleased that Kelly accepted the position and looks forward to seeing her “work ethic, dedication to Clearview Township and ability to effectively communicate with both staff and residents” continue to enhance the Finance and Information Services Department.
As the Director of Finance, Kelly will be responsible for the financial well-being of the Township through effective planning, administration, maintenance and operation of the Finance and Information Services Department. We would like to officially welcome Kelly to the Senior Management Team, where she will continue to enhance Clearview Township with her qualifications, experience and knowledge.
Recruitment for the Deputy-Treasurer position will be discussed in the coming weeks.
