At the September 23rd Clearview Council Meeting Council directed staff to take a proactive enforcement approach to enforcing Property Standards & Property Maintenance By-laws. This provides Clearview By-law enforcement officers with an opportunity to get ahead of some situations and deter future by-law infractions.
The Property Standards By-law covers many subject areas such as unmaintained or damaged building interiors and exteriors, insufficient or failed heating systems, the safety of stairs, porches and ramps etc.
