Clearview Township is committed to providing excellent service.
On July 23rd a local family had an unfortunate swimming lesson experience. This situation sparked a review of the registration processes for the Clearview Centennial Pool.
For the safety of all residents and visitors to the pool, Centennial Pool Lifeguards will continue to follow the National Lifesaving Guidelines outlined by the National Lifesaving Society of Canada while working with community members to continuously improve customer service and provide inclusivity. All Staff at the Centennial Pool are certified by the National Lifesaving Society, to learn more about the Society visit their website https://www.lifesavingsociety.com/home.aspx
Staff will be working with the Clearview Accessibility Advisory Committee to identify new opportunities to support accessibility for people with all levels of abilities. This will include changes to our registration process permitting the Township to capture any accommodation requirements and allows staff to better serve community members. In addition, updates have been made to internal controls, giving staff an increased ability to handle sensitive situations and accommodate diverse disabilities.
Clearview Township will continue to work with and learn from community feedback while providing excellent customer service.
